Overview


Carbon steel seamless steel pipe is a kind of long steel. The steel pipe has a hollow section and is widely used as a pipeline for transporting fluids, such as pipelines for transporting oil, natural gas, gas, water and certain solid materials. Compared with solid steel such as round steel, steel pipe has the same bending and torsional strength, and is lighter in weight. It is an economical section steel and is widely used in the manufacture of structural parts and mechanical parts, such as oil drill pipes, automobile transmission shafts, Bicycle racks and steel scaffolding used in building construction, etc.
The use of steel pipes to manufacture annular parts can improve the utilization rate of materials, simplify the manufacturing process, save materials and processing time, such as rolling bearing rings, jack sets, etc., which have been widely used in steel pipe manufacturing.
Steel pipes are also an indispensable material for various conventional weapons, and gun barrels, barrels, etc. must be made of steel pipes. Steel pipes can be divided into round pipes and special-shaped pipes according to the shape of the cross-sectional area. Material factor


(1) Importance of structure For important structures such as heavy industrial building structures, long-span structures, high-rise or super-high-rise civil building structures or structures, the selection of high-quality seamless steel pipes should be considered. The nature of the work is to use ordinary quality seamless steel pipes.
(2) Load conditions: For structures that directly bear dynamic loads and structures in strong earthquake areas, seamless steel pipes with good comprehensive performance should be selected; for structures that generally bear static loads, lower-priced seamless steel pipes can be used.
(3) Connection method The welding process will produce welding deformation, welding stress and other welding defects, which may lead to the risk of cracking or brittle fracture of the structure. Therefore, the material requirements of the welded structure should be stricter.
(4) The temperature and environment where the structure is located, the seamless steel pipe is easy to be cold and brittle at low temperature, so the structure working under low temperature conditions, especially the welded structure, should choose the killed steel with good resistance to low temperature brittle fracture. In addition, the Taiyuan seamless steel pipe of the open-air structure is prone to aging, and the seamless steel pipe of the harmful medium is prone to corrosion, fatigue and fracture, and different materials should be selected differently.
(5) The thickness of the seamless steel pipe is too thick. The thin seamless steel pipe has many rolling times, and the rolling compression ratio is large. Toughness and weldability are also poor. Therefore, the welded structure with large thickness should use seamless steel pipe with better material.
